Stranded Outdoor Optical Cable

 


GYTA optical cable is to combine 250 & micro; M optical fiber is sleeved into a loose sleeve made of high modulus material, and the loose sleeve is filled with waterproof compound. The center of the cable core is a metal reinforced core. For optical cables with certain core numbers, a layer of polyethylene (PE) needs to be squeezed out of the metal reinforced core. The loose sleeve (and filling rope) is twisted around the central reinforcement core to form a compact and round cable core, and the gap in the cable core is filled with water blocking filler. Plastic-coated aluminum tape (APL) is longitudinally wrapped and then extruded into a polyethylene sheath to form a cable.

•  Has good mechanical properties and temperature characteristics.
•  The loose sleeve material itself has good hydrolysis resistance and high strength.
•  The pipe is filled with special ointment to protect the optical fiber critically.
•  Specially designed tight optical cable structure effectively prevents sleeve retraction
• PE sheath has good UV radiation resistance
•  The following measures are adopted to ensure the waterproof performance of optical cables:
  -Single steel wire center reinforcement core
  -Loose sleeve filled with special waterproof compound
  -Full core filling
  -plastic coated aluminum tape (APL) moisture barrier
