All-media Self-supporting Outdoor Optical Cable
ADSS optical cable adopts loose sleeve layer twisted structure, and 250 & micro; M optical fiber is sleeved into a loose sleeve made of high modulus material, and the loose sleeve is filled with waterproof compound. The loose sleeve (and the filling rope) is twisted around the non-metallic central reinforced core (FRP) to form a compact cable core, and the gap in the cable core is filled with water-blocking oil. The cable core is extruded into a polyethylene (PE) inner sheath, then twisted into a reinforcing aramid, and finally extruded into a polyethylene (PE) outer sheath or an electrical mark resistant (AT) outer sheath.
Product application
• Overhead
• Self-supporting suspension on high-voltage tower
Product characteristics
• Power-free erection
• AT sheath is adopted, which has excellent electrical mark resistance.
• Light weight and small cable diameter, reducing ice, wind influence and load on tower and support.
• The span is large, with the maximum span exceeding 1000 meters.
• Excellent tensile properties and temperature characteristics
